German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Software Technology, Cologne, Germany

As PhD Candidate in the group Intelligent Software Systems in the department for Intelligent and Distributed Systems, my research topic was Large Language Models for (Research) Software Engineering. For my main project in the year I worked there, I created a dataset of scientific papers along with their respective source code repository, and trained a Graph Neural Network ontop of the embeddings of paper and code in order to find the one from the other.

VisioLab GmbH, Osnabrück, Germany

In typical startup fashion, I worked on many things, such as creating, maintaining and adding features to the backend (Firebase, Typescript), upkeep and deployment of the infarstructure (Kubernetes, Terraform), creating ETL-Pipelines, a Data Warehouse and a dashboard, as well as improving the custom food classification models as a data scientist.

Siddata Project, virtUOS, University of Osnabrueck, Osnabrück, Germany

The Siddata-Project created a digital data-driven study assistant, available in Stud.IP via a Django backend. In this job, I worked on ML models to suggest courses and other content, as well as professionalizing the backend to be containerized and thus quickly deployed and scaled with a proper CI/CD Pipeline.
